{"id":3694,"date":"2024-03-08T12:38:58","date_gmt":"2024-03-08T12:38:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.finden.co.uk\/?p=3694"},"modified":"2024-03-13T12:16:51","modified_gmt":"2024-03-13T12:16:51","slug":"happy-international-womens-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.finden.co.uk\/zh\/news\/happy-international-womens-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy International Women&#8217;s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.finden.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Antonia-Storming-beamtime.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3697\" src=\"https:\/\/www.finden.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Antonia-Storming-beamtime-1030x773.jpeg\" alt=\"Antonia Bobitan photo at DESY Feb 2024\" width=\"738\" height=\"590\" \/><\/a>We are so proud of our <span aria-hidden=\"true\">#<\/span>WomenInSTEM for their work with us at Finden.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to feature Antonia Bobitan our PhD student who has just completed experiments for her <a href=\"https:\/\/storming-project.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-attribute-index=\"2\" data-entity-type=\"MINI_COMPANY\">Storming EU Project<\/a>\u00a0at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desy.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-attribute-index=\"0\" data-entity-type=\"MINI_COMPANY\">DESY<\/a> synchrotron.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019ve been doing some pretty cool stuff here at DESY beamlines P21.2 and P07, from magnetic induction heating to in situ XRD-CT of batteries.<\/p>\n<p>For the Storming EU Project, we (FINDEN LTD, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucl.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UCL<\/a>) have successfully performed in situ\/operando XRD experiments of CH<sub>4<\/sub> conversion to H<sub>2<\/sub>, demonstrating the power of the Fe-based catalysts made by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibo.it\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-attribute-index=\"8\" data-entity-type=\"MINI_COMPANY\">University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum \u2013 Universit\u00e0 di Bologna)<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a person that&#8217;s environmentally conscious so I figured this degree would also create some opportunities for me to be involved in the fight against climate change.
